- Assemble Your Toolkit
There are a few key items every eyebrow care kit should have and these include grooming scissors, slanted-tip metal tweezers, an eyebrow brush and an appropriately colored eyebrow pencil to fill in any sparse areas. - Follow the Natural Path
Next map out your brows to follow their natural path. To do so, hold a brow brush or pencil against the side of your nose and rest the tip on your forehead area. Where the body of the pencil hits your eyebrows is the natural place your brows should begin. - Trim Strays
Once you’ve identified where you natural brows should begin, use your eyebrow brush and comb upwards to locate any extra long hairs that require trimming. Any brow hair that extends beyond the width of your brows should be trimmed. Once complete, comb back into place following the curve of your brow. - Tweeze Time
Now using the slanted metal-tipped tweezers, locate any extraneous hairs paying particular attention to the bottom of the brow going from nose to temple. Remember to pluck in the direction of hair growth for the cleanest pull. - Fill In
To finish your look, use the eyebrow pencil to fill in any sparse areas and to generally provide consistent color for a voluminous and complete look.
