Located in the upscale and inclusive Highland Park neighborhood in St. Paul. Accolades is a full-service salon and spa that has been servicing the universities and neighborhood around it for 22 years. Accolades has an extremely experienced and talented team of service providers, that has greatly contributed to its success as a salon and a spa.

Our team members are masters of their craft and are committed to offering our guests the best salon and spa services available. Our staff is closely-knit and diverse, made up of people who are committed to their careers in the beauty industry and to being part of the Accolades team. We work hard, love our clients and what we do, and have fun doing it!

Our Apprenticeship Program

Weeks 1-2: learn front desk, learn product knowledge

Weeks 3-4: assisting begins, learn shampoos, sectioning, value added services, and styling

Weeks 5-6: nail training

Weeks 7-8: color theory class, full head colors, one length haircut, continue nail models

Weeks 9-10: foiling, long layer haircut, begin taking nail clients if ready

Weeks 11-12: graduated bob, one length bob, undercuts, continue foiling practice

Weeks 13-14: continue practicing bobs and long cuts, foil glazes

Weeks 15-16: pixie cuts, bleach and tones

Weeks 17-18: men’s cutting, Balayage basics

Weeks 19-20: continue men’s cutting, continue Balayage techniques

Weeks 21-22: Up-dos and event styling, begin to test out models
